Nothing exciting really happened since my last post anyway.. just work, everyday. I worked my first 10 hour shift, and then I had an 11 hour shift the week after. They never schedule shifts longer than 9 hours.. once in a while they might give someone a 9 1/2 hour shift, but no longer than that. The day of my 10 hour shift, I was only supposed to work an 8 hour shift.. 12 to 8, but my friend Kyle asked me to take his shift which was 10 to 3.. I was already working so I told him I would ask a shift leader if it would work if I just went in at 10 instead of 12 so I'd be there 10 to 8.. a 10 hour shift. They said yes, and that felt like the longest shift ever.. I didn't think it would ever end, but I got through it. :)
That week I had taken a couple peoples shifts and stayed later on a couple of my shifts so I got some extra hours.. I ended up working 39.95 hours. We're not allowed to have 40 or more hours because that would be considered full time.
Then the week after they asked me to stay later when I was working 9:45 to 6.. so i ended up staying til 8:45.. making that an 11 hour shift.. that was brutal.
So anyway.. here I am back at Farmington for my Sophomore year of college.. summer went by sooo fast. It probably felt shorter to me because I took a May term and was here 4 extra weeks after everyone left for the summer, but I'm glad I did it because I got another class out of the way.
This year I'm living in Lockwood with all of my friends and rooming with one of my friends I met last year, Alyssa. I'm so happy we're all back together again and I'm hoping I'll have a much better year this time :)
Today was the first day of classes.. and so far so good! Only one class tomorrow, and 2 classes on Friday then I'm going home for a 3 day weekend! Should be fun :)
Almost forgot.. my mom and I and my godparents and their daughter always rent the same beach house every year on the same week.. the first week of August.
It's always a lot of fun, and it's good to see them because they live in Mass. so I never really get to see them!

Yes, we are on an air mattress. My friends and I invented Air Mattress Surfing a couple years ago. We take it out in the ocean and you try and stay on it over waves.

Also during this week, I went to the Paramore Honda Civic Tour concert with my friends Kelley and Taylor. We all love Paramore, and we also saw Kadawatha, New Found Glory and Tegan & Sara perform before Paramore came on stage! It was an awesome concert and we had really good seats! I'm also going to a concert on September 11th.. Jason Mraz! I'm going with a bunch of my friends from school, I can't wait!
So after the Jason Mraz concert.. I will of been to 4 concerts this year! That's a record for me haha. Before all the concerts this year.. I had been to like 3 or 4 concerts in my lifetime.. so now it will be about 8 :)
I'm sure I'll be back on track now with posting blogs regularly because I'm back at school!
